Sugar Tyme Crabapple is a compact flowering deciduous tree with an oval crown and crisp dark green foliage. Abundant pink buds open to fragrant white flowers that bloom in spring. Its small, glossy, vivid red fruits persist in winter adding interest. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils. Sugar Tyme has excellent disease resistance.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Medium Maintenance. Regular water in first year, planted in well draining soil, fertilize yearly. Watch for scab, fire blight, rusts, leaf spot and powdery mildew. Potential pests include tent caterpillars, aphids, Japanese beetles, borers and scale. Spider mites may occur.
