Variegated Lemon is a small fruit-producing evergreen shrub with variegated dark green and cream foliage and fragrant white flowers that bloom year round. The lemons produced by are green and yellow striped when young and mature to the familiar yellow when ripe. Grows best in full sun and sandy well-drained soils. A good container and house plant for year round production. Cannot tolerate frost.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Susceptible to anthracnose, scab, sooty mold, greasy spot, canker and gummosis. Potential insect pests include aphids, thrips, cutworms, leafrollers, mealybugs, scales and whiteflies. Watch for mites.
