Capitan Purple Frost Dianthus is a dwarf mat-forming evergreen perennial with deep green foliage and sturdy hairy stems. Clusters of fragrant frosted rich purple double flowers with fine white edging and dark eyes bloom continuously from spring through fall if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
