Alabama Sunset Coleus is a tender shade-loving evergreen perennial treated as an annual primarily for its dramatic foliage. The ruffled foliage emerges yellow-chartreuse and matures to vibrant shades of red, orange, or burgundy on contrasting chartreuse stems and may have lightly tipped edges. Its late summer bloom is non showy and is often removed to maintain foliage display. Best color in part sun and moist, loose well-drained soils.
