Flirt Heavenly Bamboo is a compact non-flowering evergreen shrub with red foliage for nine months of the year. The dense bamboo like foliage emerges wine red before maturing to deep blue green before gaining red tints in winter. The leaves and berries are highly toxic to animals. Best planted in part sun with rich, moist well-drained soils.
