North Star Sour Cherry is a dwarf fruiting deciduous tree with a vase-shaped habit and strong production of deliciously tart bright red cherries in early summer.  Its white flowers bloom in late spring. Grows best in most, well-drained soils that are lightly acidic. Average age to start fruiting is 1-3 years. North Star has improved disease resistant and is self-pollinating.
