Goldflame Spirea is a dense irregular mounded deciduous shrub with oval sharp-toothed leaves with bronze-red new growth that matures to yellow-green and gains yellow-orange-copper hues in fall.  Flat-topped clusters of rose-pink flowers cover the plant in later spring to summer. Grows best in full sun and well-drained soils.  Removed spent flowers to encourage additional bloom.
