Spun Silk Shasta Daisy is a compact fast-growing perennial with a mounding habit. Its coarse, leathery medium green foliage is topped with heavy blooms of large white daisy-like flowers with narrow fringed petals and yellow centers all summer if deadheaded. Prefers full sun and moist well-drained soil.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. Pinch back stems as needed to control height. Cut back to 6" after flowering and mulch. Aphids, thrips and spider mites may cause significant damage. Potential disease problems include Botrytis, leaf spots, rust, powdery mildew, stem and root rots, verticillium wilt, aster yellows, and viruses.
