Monrovia® Tuxedo Red Hydrangea is a dwarf deciduous shrub with a mounded habit and very dark green serrated leaves that have hints of black and bright green veins. The PH of the soil influences the intensity of the red of the mophead flowers- increasing acidity will deepen the dark pink until they are a vivid red, and blooms from late spring through summer. The flowers attract pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.
