Compost PLUS consists of a blended, properly composted, well-aged cattle manure and carbon source. Its extra fine texture makes it easy to use and easily incorporates into the soil. Compost PLUS, when used properly, is a non-burning, weed free soil enhancement for gardens, lawns and landscapes.
Potted Plants: For potted plants, use a ¼ to ½ cup of Compost PLUS
per 6” pot. Blend with the potting soil prior to potting. For established plants,
sprinkle a ¼ cup into the soil and water thoroughly.
Garden Beds: Mix Compost PLUS directly into the top of the soil. Use one pound
per 10 square feet. Always water thoroughly.
Small Trees: Mix 1 part of Compost PLUS to 3 parts of soil into the growing media
and water thoroughly.
Turf Grasses: Can be applied under new sod, seeding grasses or feed existing lawns
at the rate between 40 to 100 pounds per 1,000 square feet. Product can be used
at higher rates for poor soil conditions or faster results. To repair damaged or
stressed spots in your yard, sprinkle Compost PLUS directly onto the grass and
water thoroughly.
