Karl Fuchs Deodar Cedar is a tall-growing pyramidal conifer tree that matures with narrow layered horizontal branches with drooping branchlets and upright cones. The drooping needles emerge a simmering blue-green and gradually matures to green. Prefers full sun and rich, moist acidic well-drained soils. Heat and drought tolerant once established. After 10 years it will continue to grow at a rate of 6 - 8" inches a year.
