The best time to harvest is when the flower head is firm (before any flowers bloom). Cut the stem about 5-6" below the base of the head to allow regrowth and production of side shoots. It’s ready to harvest in as little as 60-days!

2. Crane Pink Ornamental Kale

The leaves have the best flavor after the first frost. Developing bright pink centers, this plant is best grown in rick, moist loamy soil. It grows two to three feet in height.
