Soft Caress Mahonia is a compact clumping evergreen shrub with soft bamboo-like compound leaves that turn purple in fall. Pinnacles of fragrant bright yellow flowers bloom in spring and are followed by highly ornamental powdery blue fruit clusters. Best in part sun and moist well-drained soil.
