Variegated Lemon Thyme is a culinary evergreen perennial grown for its dense green lemon scented and flavored foliage with creamy white margins.  Its thin woody stems sport fragrant lavender pink flowers that bloom through summer attracting butterflies.  Grows best in full sun and well-drained soil.  Tolerates moderate foot traffic.

Lemon Thyme's leaves can be used as an antiseptic and disinfectant.  Essential oils from the leaves are less of an irritant than other Thymes and is often used for aromatherapy for asthma and other respiratory issues.*
