Outer Banks Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with serrated dark green leaves. Its abundant large-flowered lacecap panicles bloom throughout summer with color that depends on the soil PH - blue in acidic soils, and more pink tones in neutral or alkaline soils- attracting butterflies and pollinators. Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils. The Seaside Serenade series has longer lasting blooms and extra sturdy stems.
